The torque converter has three main parts:

The Impeller: This part is connected to the engine. When the engine spins, the impeller spins too and pushes the fluid inside.

The Turbine: This part is connected to the transmission. The fluid from the impeller hits the turbine, making it spin and sending power to the wheels.

The Stator: This part sits in the middle and helps direct the fluid back to the impeller. It makes the torque converter work more efficiently, especially when the car is starting to move or going slowly.
